What is an advertising specialty, and why would I want one?

Advertising specialties are the most cost-effective way of keeping your company's name in front of current and potential customers.  Look around you...I'll bet within arm's reach there is a pen, calendar, koozie or some other product with a company name or logo on it.  Heck, you might even be wearing one!  Every time you pick up or glance at that product, an advertising impression is made.  And high numbers of advertising impressions are what companies pay BIG bucks for.  Think of what an 30-second ad in the Super Bowl costs each year.  But are those ads effective?  Maybe, but there's really no way to tell whether anyone who sees that ad is going to be or has been a customer.  Advertising specialty promotions are different in that you are able to target exactly whom you want to reach.  And advertising specialties have that certain magic "staying power" that allow them to work for you time and time again!

I have a trade show coming up, and I would like to give away something different and creative this year.  Do you have any ideas?

Yes!  The Advertising Specialty Institute has developed a program called ESP which allows us to search the database of over 700,000 products using specific keywords, price points, and other parameters so we can find exactly the right product for your next promotion.  If we can't find it, it doesn't exist.

How do I place an order?

There is an order form at the bottom of every product page.  Please fill in the appropriate spaces and click "submit."  Once I receive your order request, I will send you an order confirmation along with an artwork proof.  If everything meets your approval, simply sign the order confirmation, enter your payment method (credit card number, purchase order number, or check number), and send the order confirmation back to me (via fax if possible), and I will take care of the rest!  By the way, please make purchase orders and checks payable to "Kaeser and Blair."  Who is Kaeser and Blair?  See below!

Who is Kaeser and Blair?

Kaeser and Blair is my wholesale distributor.  Their "Best Buys" catalog is one of the most comprehensive collections of advertising specialty products at the best prices in the industry.  K&B also handles the order processing and billing, so any credit card charges or invoices will have their name on them.  

Why don't you ask for my credit card number on the website order form?  How will I pay you?

You will get the opportunity to submit your credit card number on the order confirmation that you send back to me.  I need your signature to process the order.

When will my credit card be charged?

Since all our orders are for custom made products, your credit card will be charged prior to production.

Your phone number and fax number is the same.  Can that be correct?

Yes, we have the technology to receive voice and data communications on the same lines.  However, if you send me a fax and it doesn't work on the first try, please try again!  Sometimes calls roll all the way over to our personal lines, and those aren't equipped with fax receivers.

What will my artwork look like?

You will receive an artwork proof of exactly what your imprint will look like prior to any charges ever taking place.  Unless, of course, your imprint is straight typesetting only, and you are willing to leave it up to the factory to make it look good.  Contrary to popular belief, most factories are very conscientious about how their products look, and do an excellent job of layout and typesetting.

I don't have a logo.
Can you design one for me?

I have no formal training in graphic design, but I have a good eye for spatial relationships and color, and I have the tools available to draw and design just about anything you need.  Art charges may apply at $25.00 an hour, call for a quote.

I would like to have my logo on the product I've selected.  How do I send it to you?

Camera-ready art needs to be in a certain format to be acceptable to most factories, which is Adobe Illustrator .eps file, version 9 or less, with all text converted to outline.  If your artwork meets these standards, you can attach the digital file to an email and address it to: phil@bakercreative.net .  If your art is on paper, you can send it to Baker Creative Advertising, 3584 Pleasant View Court, Pace, FL  32571.  No artwork will be returned unless specifically requested.

Do you carry pen refills?

No.

Can the pens I want be delivered next week?

Maybe.  Most factories have rush services available at a higher cost, and orders can be shipped utilizing overnight or second-day air services.  Call for quotes.

What are the shipping costs?

Shipping costs are determined on an order-by-order basis based on weight, volume and distance.  You will be billed the exact shipping cost on each order.

Can I get a sample of the product I'm interested in?

Yes, samples are available for a $5.00 shipping and handling charge.  Click here to order a sample.

Your prices are so low!  How do I know you're legitimate?

I have hundreds of satisfied customers from coast to coast, and now even some from overseas.  I am a member in good standing in the Northwest Florida Better Business Bureau and the Pace Chamber of Commerce.  My Santa Rosa County occupational license number is 4710-0028699, and my State of Florida Resale Certificate number is 67-00-016195-68-7.
